Before founding Big Rocks Organizing LLC in 2015, Whitney worked as a business and real estate law paralegal and spent 15 years advocating for crime victims through organizations like the University of Oregon, Washington County District Attorney’s Office, and the United Nations in Thailand.
Originally from Beaverton, Oregon, Whitney holds a BA in Studio Art from Scripps College (Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa) and an MA in International Studies from the University of Oregon. She also studied abroad in Heidelberg, Germany.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, camping, gardening, and hiking with her wife and their two dogs. A roller derby enthusiast, Whitney spent over five years volunteering as a skating official with local leagues.
She is a Certified Professional Organizer® (CPO®) and Certified Senior Move Manager (SMM-C®), with NAPO specialist certificates in Life Transitions, Residential Organizing, and Workplace Productivity. She follows the Codes of Ethics of both NAPO and NASMM, and previously served on the board of NAPO’s Oregon Chapter.
