Kayla grew up in central California and relocated to Oregon in 2017. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from George Fox University and has always had a particular interest in how physical spaces impact mental health.
When Kayla was growing up, she saw firsthand the delicate process of assisting someone with health challenges with rightsizing. She helped her parents transition her grandmother out of her home and into an assisted living community. This event really shaped how Kayla views possessions and got her thinking about organizing from a young age.
Kayla is passionate about the aesthetics of a space, decorating, and finding organizational systems that integrate well with your lifestyle. She has previous experience in collaborative design projects, space planning, and event planning. She lives in Portland, where she enjoys cooking, hiking, photography, and trying out new coffee shops.
