Estate Services + Clearouts Include:

  • Sorting the contents of the entire home
  • Coordinating with consignment, estate sale and auction vendors
  • Donating, recycling and removing unwanted items
  • Provide an itemized list of donations
  • Completely clearing out the home for sale
  • Referrals and coordination with third-party vendors like a hauler, shredding service, housecleaner, window washer, handyperson, etc.
  • Inventory of the estate
  • Transport or shipping items
  • Expertly and compassionately managing all details
  • Working with family members, executors, personal representatives, CPAs, trustees, realtors, professional fiduciaries, attorneys, etc.

Working with an organizer can feel like stepping into new territory. Here’s what to expect from start to finish.


During this call, we’ll ask questions to help us understand your project and situation. We’ll also help you determine if Big Rocks Organizing is a good fit for your needs. Schedule a FREE Exploratory Call here.


The next step is a paid onsite consultation and written estimate. The cost is a flat, prepaid fee of $270.

This appointment lasts 60-90 minutes. Within seven days (but usually 1 to 2 days), we will send you a detailed, written estimate for your project. In the estimate, we provide a timeline and breakdown of the costs so that there are no surprises. You can complete parts of your project on your own to conserve funds or have us expertly handle everything. If you decide to move forward, we require a 50% deposit to schedule our team.


Your dedicated Big Rocks project manager will keep you in the loop during all stages of your project. They will coordinate with haulers, movers, consignment, and other service providers to ensure a smooth clearout to take the stress off your shoulders. We will sort through the contents of your home and determine what can be sold, donated or recycled. We will bring all of the supplies needed. At the end of your project, you’ll reimburse us for supplies and materials at cost. We will provide a breakdown. If desired, we will provide a single PDF document containing an itemized list of donations and receipts and a link to a folder of pictures for tax purposes. It takes us an average of two weeks to complete a house clearout.
